The basic infrastructure in the village in the form of roads, electricity, water supply etc. is being strengthened with the help of government of Haryana and other partner Institutions.
Roads connecting the villages and the internal village roads have been shortlisted for strengthening and repair to provide smooth connectivity. The fund for the purpose has been sanctioned by the government of Haryana.
Government of Haryana has sanctioned required funds for upgradation of network infrastructure of electricity distribution to enable 24X7 electricity in the villages and to minimize losses in distribution. Presently, Village Dhaula and Harchandpur have been provided with 24x7 Electricity supply.
The Existing system of pipelines for water supply is being surveyed to suggest changes or replacement. The concept of Water ATM to provide affordable and safe drinking water to the villagers has been introduced. Approximately 400 households have been benefitted by the Water ATM at village Rojka Meo.
GRAMALAYA which would be a building on the lines of village secretariat with adequate space for various common needs of the village like, meeting space, bank, CSC etc has been planned with the use of low- cost brick technology. This novel Habitech-NivaraTantra Housing & Sanitation Technology Solutions helps make bricks with local material and also reduces infrastructure cost by 30%-40%.Harchandpur Village has resolved to donate gram panchayat land for the purpose.
Skill Development is a major initiative under this project. Approximately 900 youths have been trained in the SMARTGRAM Villages at SMARTGRAM Training centers established in the schools in the villages. There are 4 training centers at the school in Village Alipur, Dhaula, Harchandpur and Rojka Meo. These training centers have been provided basic infrastructure like LED Screens, computers, tables and chairs .The infrastructure has been funded by Max life Insurance under CSR initiative. Apart from the Smartgram Training centers at schools in the villages there are two training centers at Udyogkunj which are being used by Training Partners of National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC).
Construction of SMARTGRAM Higher secondary school using the novel Habitech- NivaraTantra Housing & Sanitation Technology Solutions is planned in Village Dhaula. This Technology (patented by Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok and Prakshak TechnoEnterprises) reduces the infrastructure cost by 30-40%.
